Michael Guilbault
a brief history…
I was born in Hamilton Ontario and grew up and still live in Stoney Creek. At an early age I discovered a love and a talent for drawing and creating things from my mind. I enjoy creating things and solving problems. I was the kid that took things apart to fix them or see how they worked and sometimes created new things from old ones.
So when it came time for me to choose a career path, graphic design or commercial arts as it was called then seem to me to be the best fit for me. It allowed me to make a good living and satisfied my desire to design and create. I think having a love for what you do makes work enjoyable.
When I started in graphic design it was much more hands-on, we had big art desks and T-squares, now it's super computers and software. I've really enjoyed the ride, I believe, if your not learning everyday your just wasting time.
